Deficit - Introduction [tng1017]
This is clearly the most interesting netlabel release of the past few months. Deficit is from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and his atonal drones and offbeat and hypnotic drumming, are as much influenced by the traditonal sounds as electronica. This gives it a completely unique sound, in some ways reminicant of some of the crazy scatterbrain electronica on warp output but with a more earthy influence.
